Delivery is free within 5 miles of our shop on North Street, Wetherby, and £30 across the rest of our area, which covers Harrogate, Leeds, York and the towns and villages in between.

Can you deliver a washing machine the same day?

Often, yes, when it's in stock. Anything we order in usually arrives in 2 to 3 days. Call 01937 585646 to check.

Will you install it and take the old one away?

Yes. Add installation and removal when you order. Our own team fits your new appliance, checks it runs and takes the old one away to be recycled.

Can you get a model that isn't on the website?

Very likely. What you see online is our most popular range. Send us the make and model and we'll source it for you.

As a guide, a 7 to 8kg drum suits 1 or 2 people, 8 to 9kg suits 3 or 4, and 10kg or more suits bigger families. Most freestanding machines fit a standard 60cm gap.

Very helpful in researching and sourcing a fridge/freezer to meet our urgent requirements, and particular specification A high quality model was selected for delivery to us within 48 hours, on a Friday. On the day of anticipated delivery, we were advised that unfortunately the item had not been received from the manufactuer as promised. Delivery to us finally took place a further three days later, partly influenced by the interveing weekend. The old equipment was removed at the same time. The delay was disappointing and caused some issues for us, which detracted from a 5 Star score. We still feel that it was important to support local businesses

Replacement fridge freezer.
I needed to replace an integrated fridge freezer and was worried about getting it fitted without any damage to the cabinet and doors. Bright Ideas did a fantastic job of removing the old appliance and installing the new one. Around an hour overall and everything looks as good as new. Very impressed with the service.

Really excellent service. Washing machine broke down on Friday, went in to see Steve the same day and he had a choice in stock ready to go. Picked to one I wanted and Alex did a very tricky fitting Monday with no problem at all and took our old one away - all included in what I thought was a very reasonable price. Fantastic service from start to finish. Alex came out to Harrogate to install a new integrated washing machine and remove the old one. It wasn’t an easy job as the floor is quite uneven but he stayed for as long as he needed to to get it right. Very professional and friendly service - would highly recommend
